New Developments @ HaloCom International

New Opt-Out SMS Feature

It is now possible for an SMS recipient who receives a message sent though HaloCom's Gateway, to reply with the word 'stop' to automatically be removed from the clients group list. The client will also be emailed to confirm that a 'stop' request has been received.

The recipients cell number will also be added to a 'blocked' list so that if the client inadvertently sends another SMS message to that subscriber again, the SMS message will be blocked.

This feature is in line with legal requirements in many countries to which HaloCom reach. Note that this feature is only available to the recipient if the client set the SMS message to 'repliable' when sending.

Mobile2Group Number Change

Please note that the number that you need to send your mobile2group messages to, has changed. Please use +447797803200 (note that you will need to include the + sign when sending from your mobile).

Replies – Receive replies to your outgoing SMS messages

The option to receive replies to messages that you send out is now available at the click of a button. Check the send pages within your HaloCom account for more information on this feature.

Mobile2Group – BulkSMS Via Your Mobile Phone

Send SMS’s to your HaloCom phonebook groups via a mobile phone. Once enabled you will be able to send an SMS that will be forwarded to your BulkSMS phonebook groups. You no longer need to be near a PC to use HaloCom's corporate SMS services. To become truly mobile just login and enable this free service in your user profile!

Failed Number Purge – Cleaning Up Your Phone Book Just Got Easier

Use Failed Number Purge to better maintain your phonebook groups. This new feature allows you to purge numbers based on a chosen number of consecutive SMS delivery failures. Keep your phonebook up to date, efficient and most importantly, cost effective.

Saturday Support – Support Hours Extended
